		May 22., 2013 Sonderborg X released! Sonderborg X is a realistic and highly detailed rendition of Sønderborg Lufthavn/Sonderborg Airport (EKSB, SGD). The airport is located on the island of Als in Southern Jutland, a few kilometers from Sønderborg City, next to the beautiful Augustenborg Fjord, and not far from the Danish-German border. The airport has several daily flights to Copenhagen Kastrup Airport (EKCK, CPH). The route is operated by Danish Air Transport, DAT. The flying time between Copenhagen and Sønderborg is about 40 minutes.

		Dec. 19, 2012: Randers Airfield update! A new version of Randers Airfield EKRD is now available. The 1.1 update includes new apron, taxiway and runway textures, new building textures and new ground textures with seasonal variation. The update also includes new 3D grass, more trees, a new season change tool and custom made GA AI traffic. Please see this forum post for more information.

		Dec. 12, 2012: Sønderborg X! Vidan Design has started work on the next release, Sønderborg X, a detailed scenery of Sønderborg Airport ESSB, SGD for Flight Simulator X. Sønderborg Airport (EKSB, SGD) is beautifully located on the island of Als in southern Denmark, a few kilometers from Sønderborg City and not far from the Danish-German border. 		Dec. 10, 2012: Freeware Aarhus Airport X ver. 1.1 now available A new version of the freeware scenery Aarhus Airport X is now available. In version 1.1 the apronlight has been improved and most of the night textures has been replaced. Download the new version from the freeware page.

		Nov. 8, 2012: Danish Airfields X - Sindal patch available This patch fixes a problem with ground polygons not displaying correctly when the scenery is used together with the freeware scenery Denmark Map X 2.0. Please see this forum post for more information.

		Danish Airfields X - Saeby ver. 1.1 available A new version of Danish Airfields X - Saeby is now available. Version 1.1 fixes a problem with buildings disappearing when they are near the edge of the field of view. Also, the photo terrain textures has been adjusted to better blend with the default ground textures and to better match FSX season changes. To install the update, you must log into the SimMarket account that you used when you purchased the scenery, download the installer and run it again. You do not need to uninstall Danish Airfields X - Saeby before running the new installer.

		Danish Airfields X – Sindal for FSX released Danish Airfields X – Sindal is a realistic and highly detailed rendition of Sindal Airport (IATA: CNL ICAO: EKSN) , the northernmost airport in Denmark, situated on the top of the Jutland peninsula between Frederikshavn at the Kattegat Sea and Hirtshals at the North Sea coast. The scenery features a 19 cm/pixel photoreal terrain with day/night and seasonal variation, uniquely modeled airport buildings, custom made farm buildings, objects, vehicles and ai traffic. The airport has been recreated in extreme details and the scenery includes many high resolution textures (2048x2048 pixels) based on hundreds of photos taken on-site by Vidan Design. Sindal Airport EKSN is a municipally owned airport which was established in 1977. The airport has a 1200 meter long asphalt runway. The airport is home to Sindal Flying Club which was establiched in 1985. The airport is also home to the ScanTech aircraft maintenance facility which has specialized on HawkerBeechcraft and Cessna Citation piston and turbine powered aircraft. The scenery is designed to be used on a standard FSX Acceleration/SP2 installation under DirectX 9.

		Mar. 28, 2012: Danish Airfields X - Saeby released Danish Airfields X - Saeby is a highly detailed rendition of the small private airfield Saeby Ottestrup EKSA located southwest of Frederikshavn in northern Jutland. Saeby Ottestrup airfield offers a relaxed and quiet rural atmosphere for general aviation pilots. Situated in northern Denmark with both Norway and Sweden within relatively short range, the airfield is the ideal destination on a scandinavian GA round trip. The airfield has a 650m marked grass runway with lights and a 1000m glider area. The scenery features a 19 cm/pixel photoreal terrain with day/night and seasonal variation, uniquely modeled hangars, custom made farm houses, objects and vehicles. Product page

		Nov. 11, 2011: Danish Airfields X – Herning released Danish Airfields X – Herning is a realistic and highly detailed representation of Herning Airport EKHG (Herning Lufthavn, also known as “Skinderholm Flyveplads”). Danish Airfields X - Herning features custom modeled runway, apron and taxiways, custom modeled objects, fuel stations and airport vehicles, 3D grass vegetation, custom made ground textures with night/day and season variation - and much more. Herning Airport EKHG is situated just north-east of Herning in central Jutland. The airport was established in 1943. During the Second World War occupation of Denmark the airfield was used by the Luftwaffe as a dummy airfield to divert attention away from “Fliegerhorst Grove” (Karup Airbase/Karup Airport),located just 7 NM north of EKHG. Today, Herning Airport is one of Denmark's busiest GA airports and home to several flying clubs, among them is one of the most active gliding clubs in Denmark, Herning Gliding Club. The airport has a 1200 meter asphalt runway, a grass runway and a glider strip.

		Aug. 2011: Drzewiecki Design piracy Stanislaw Drzewiecki of Drzewiecki Design has made illegal use of Vidan Design Bornholm Airport X textures and preview screenshots to make his Bornholm Island 2011 scenery. 		Nov. 12, 2010: Danish Airfields X - Randers Vidan Design has released Danish Airfields X - Randers. The scenery is a realistic and detailed representation of Randers Flyveplads (Randers Airfield) EKRD, located just north of the city of Randers, Denmark. The scenery features high resolution runway and taxiway textures, custom made realistic ground textures with night/day and season variation and custom made Gmax models of objects, cars and buildings.

		Sept. 25, 2010: Bornholm Airport EKRN for FSX Vidan Design has started work on a new Bornholm Airport EKRN scenery for FSX. The scenery will be based on brand new photos of the airport, which is located near Rønne, the main city on the island Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. 		Sept. 16, 2010: Danish Airfields X - Randers The next release in the Danish Airfields X-series will be Randers Airfield EKRD. Randers Airfield is located in the eastern part of Jutland, and the airfield is used by both commercial and general aviation traffic. You can follow the development of the scenery in this thread.

		September 4, 2010: Canopy.dk is now Vidan Design Vidan Design is the new name for canopy.dk. Vidan Design will continue the development of the popular Danish Airfields X series for FSX. Vidan Design will provide customer support for all titles published by canopy.dk. Canopy.dk was established in 2009 by John B. Jensen and has released a number of addon sceneries for Microsoft Flight Simulator, both freeware and payware products. Vidan Design is using the newest developing tools and the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator SDK (Software Development Kit). Vidan Design aims at creating realistic and up to date scenery products of the highest quality, while at the same time ensuring that the products have minimal impact on computer performance. The name "Vidan" comes from a contraction of the words "Virtuel" (Virtual) and "Danmark".
